The Eccentrics' Asylum

Raving lunatics-- the good kind. Actually, it's more like we're ranting...

Okay, no real updates as of yet, but it's going to be overhaul-city soon. Flash buttons, general updates, a poll, more forums and.....D.....W.....I...... DWI, Dance With Intenisty, a computerized version of Dance Dance Revolution (DDR), one of the coolest games ever made. I will now be putting up a DWI obseession-shrine-site-section as a part of E'A. I am soooooooooooo bad at it, but you can create your own custom files using your own music and steps, and....it's DDR....on the computer......wheee.....

Okay, enough about that. I have work to do.

[P. S. DDR & DWI RULE! *gets whapped into next update*]

Yay! I have (almost) all of my disks back! My burned-out burner is fixed, by my PC is still as screwy as ever. May have to do another reformat, just to give it a good, definate clean-out. After all, it won't install Unreal Tournament (UT) from the actual commercial disk! What's up with that? It even screenfreezes on screen savers! At least I have my disks, though. I have lost REBURN: Ice Pack (probably at Red's), which had Office, Madden, and Tony Hawk 2 on it, but I have all the others, including a new backup burn of my recently nabbed Nadesico Disk 1, which I won't rant about. I now have Dreamweaver again, and am making an overhaul of the site. Switching from a 2-frame to a 4-frame format is one of the two biggest changes, as is the Table of Contents sidebar change; the plain-looking links are now changing to spiffy-looking Flash buttons! If my computer will ever behave, I should be in good shape, but no more Warez. Unless it's burned and tested, I can't get any more D/Led games, unless from their actual site. No full-versions unless burned and tested. There we go. I don't want Yasha2K to explode again, and those d/ls are viruses (or Viri, as I prefer to say) just waiting to happen. Expect more to come up later this week. Pray for snow!

Oy....what a....*looks at calendar*...past couple of days...it has been. Okay, I get a few days off from school due to flooding, but...my PC flips out on me, I have to go back to the old presets (but some floppy back-upitage is still allowed). However, almost all of my backup burns are on loan, meaning no Dreamweaver or MS Office, so no site updating. Bummer. At least I have my Blogger though. This thing will come in really handy when I get it linked up right. Whee. Now all I need are my disks, and there can be some updating....

Okay, just a quick update here. It is official; Blogger is my news...updatery....thing. I am submitting this update from school, which is something that I need the news thing to allow me to do. w00t. Now, let's see, what do I need to do...? I need to update....the Chibi Apartment, Zen's, the main page, Kuja's, the gamers' and Red's (if I can get an update out of the rest for the last three). I also need to compile a staff list, and actually add some content to this site. That way, there will be a reason for people to come to it. Also, I'm thinking of adding a media section, with a lot of audio and plus (possibly) some video as well. Sweet. Now if only I can get Red and Kuja to make some comics....

Later E'A-Heads.

Hmm....aside from IE for some reason not letting me look up a map of Wheeling, PA, on mapquest (trying to find venues for AFA Madden 2K2 football), things seem fairly normal around here. I'm probably going to add pages for my two Madden 2K2 Leagues to TonCo or E'A eventually: The American Football Association (AFA) and the Rutherford Football League (RFL). Also, The Landlocked Glacier (an attempted warez/custom CD info site) should return as well. Nothing much to add; just testing to see if I have the same problems when typing and trying to submit that text in a form. Later.

Oh, man...this has been quite an experience. My computer's getting buggy. It screws up when on websites, and my usual E-mail program just won't run. For that reason, I have made profiles for myself and my parents so we can check our different E-mails with Outlook, since Outlook Express is down. An error comes up on startup, and the pc even froze while I was trying to install Norton Family Internet Utilities (including a VirusScan), which came on a disk that had our new modem software. Oh well, I guess I can try again tomorrow. As long as the net works, mail *can* be checked, and nothing explodes within the next few seconds, I guess we'll be fine. Oh yeah, I just was reminded of how my CD burner keeps trying to come alive. Oi, this PC is beginning to drive me up the wall. Hopefully my Nadesico and UT still work...

What's up, E'A? I think this might make for an interesting change; the news could be updated from Blogger! Yes, I know this is odd, but it might be likeable; seems to be pretty fragging cool. We'll have to see how this goes; maybe I can get this to post to my main.html file or something. Hey...that has a "Team" feature; I can add my admins; sw33t! I'll have to check this thing out.
More later,
VT
